Discharge and Dosing Unit with Brackets for Hanging in an Existing Platform, with 2 Sack Chutes
The cylindrical container with a flat-bottom scraper and dosing unit, specifically designed for difficult-flowing and bridging bulk materials, is equipped with sturdy brackets that allow for easy hanging in a platform. This design ensures a stable and secure attachment of the container, which is advantageous in industrial applications where a continuous and reliable material flow is crucial. The flat-bottom scraper ensures that the bulk material is evenly discharged, even in cases where bridging or compaction occurs. The integrated dosing unit provides precise and controlled material feed into subsequent processes, which is particularly important in sensitive production operations.
The two sack chutes on the container allow two operators to refill bulk materials simultaneously, significantly speeding up the refilling process and thus boosting productivity. The ergonomically placed sack chutes make the refilling process easier and reduce physical strain on the operators. This dual refilling capability is especially useful in scenarios where large quantities of material are processed, ensuring that the container remains sufficiently filled to avoid production interruptions. Additionally, the sack chutes can be equipped with dust extraction systems to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Feeding a Powder Sprinkler in a Closed Loop System
The sprinkler evenly coats the cookies, which are transported via a conveyor belt, with powder to ensure a homogeneous coating. The excess powder that does not adhere to the cookies or falls past them is efficiently collected in the trough container positioned below. This trough container is strategically placed to capture most of the scattered powder, minimizing material loss and promoting a resource-efficient process.
The collected powder in the trough container is automatically conveyed back to the powder sprinkler as needed, allowing for continuous material use and reducing the need for fresh powder. An integrated conveying system, such as a screw conveyor, ensures that the powder is returned to the sprinkler without interrupting the production flow.
If the powder level in the trough container drops below a certain threshold, it can be manually refilled with sack material. This ensures that the production process remains uninterrupted. To simplify the refilling process, ergonomically designed sack-loading stations or lifting devices can be used, making manual refilling easier and safer for the operators. Additionally, the trough container can be equipped with a level sensor to signal when refilling is needed, helping to avoid unexpected interruptions.
